TxDOT PM Courses

Charles Gurganus is currently a Civil Engineering Instructional Professor for Texas A&M University. Dr. Gurganus led the effort to develop the curriculum for CON 511 and CON 512. He frequently teaches both classes. Dr. Gurganus research interests are pavements, construction, and workforce development. Prior to this time, Dr. Gurganus worked for TxDOT as an area engineer.

John Habermann is currently a research engineer for the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. Mr. Habermann has contributed ideas to the development of CON 511 along with teaching the course. Mr. Habermann research interests include highway construction, work zone safety, and workforce development. Prior to his time at TTI, Mr. Habermann worked at Purdue University where he developed and delivered transportation training workshops for local government officials.
